Головки

Плетеные (тесьма) Плетеные головки дают более мягкое звучание и прекрасно подходят для маримбы, но их также можно применять при игре на ксилофоне и вибрафоне. Плетеные (шнурки) Более жесткие головки, чем плетеные из тесьмы, дают более яркий звук. Отлично подходят для исполнения выразительных пассажей.

MKA(W)-01: With the MKA(W)-01 two-tone mallet, differences in touch are clearly apparent in the tone.

MKA(W)-02/03: MKA(W)-02 and MKA(W)-03 utilize short shafts for fast, intricate mallet work. Hard to tell by looking, but the added weight in the mallet heads offers the percussionist greater possibilities in playing.

MKA(W)-04/05/06/07/S7: The MKA(W)-04 through S7 are based on Yamaha’s Professional series with a rubber tube wrapped around its core. This design offers a slightly different touch that delivers greater expressiveness with enhanced sensitivity.

MKA(W)-08/09: The MKA(W)-08 and 09 are designed to deliver greater tone from large rosewood tone bars at the bass end of the marimba.

Выдающийся музыкант и композитор Кейко Абе внесла огромный вклад в становлении маримбы в качестве полноценного концертного инструмента. Кейко постоянно удивляет своих слушателей редким сочетанием, чувственного исполнения и виртуозной техники. Именно эти качества сделали Абе ведущим исполнителем на маримбе.

Помимо концертной деятельности Кейко занимается преподаванием, она - профессор Школы музыки Тохо Гаукен в Токио. Так же ее приглашают на мастер-классы в более, чем 100 ведущих консерваторий в Северной Америке, Европе и Азии. Произведения, написанные Кейко, стали классическими стандартами и исполняются музыкантами на концертах во всем мире. Многие композиторы пишут свои сочинения под впечатлением от несравненной Кейко.

В 1993 году она стала первой и пока единственной женщиной, включенной в Зал славы Сообщества барабанно-перкуссионного искусства. В течение 30 лет ее исполнительское искусство вызывает восхищение во всем мире.
